4th Degree Black Belt - World Taekwondo (WT)
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art known for head-height kicks, jumping spinning kicks, and fast techniques. The World Taekwondo (WT) style is the standard for Olympic competition, focusing on speed, footwork, and an electronic scoring system for sparring.
Join Michael Alban, a 4th Degree Black Belt (Sah-Dan), who has achieved "Master" level, demonstrating a deep understanding of both Poomsae (forms) and the philosophical tenets of the art: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit.
Training at this level involves refining basics and applying traditional power-generation principles, like "sine wave" or hip rotation, to modern combat situations.
